The Center for Strategic Development in Civil Aviation (AVIACENTER) has completed a route network development strategy for a large airport in the Far East.

The Сenter for Strategic Development in Civil Aviation (AVIACENTER) has performed feasibility study and forecasting passenger, cargo and mail traffic and air traffic intensity for one of the Moscow Aviation Hub airports for the long term perspective. 

Embraer Brazilian aircraft conglomerate terminates the M&A deal with Boeing. In an interview to RT, Anton Koren, the General Director of the Сenter for Strategic Development in Civil Aviation (AVIACENTER), suggested that the termination of the deal with Embraer is caused by Boeing’s desire to receive financial support from the US federal government.

AVIACENTER and Transport Strategy Center (TSC) ebalorated a development strategy for the air transport system of the Krasnoyarsk region  25.12.2019 00:00

Within the framework of the project, Aviacenter with another the expert organizations of the TSC Consortium have elaborated the strategy of regional air transportation development in the Krasnoyarsk region.

At the first stage of the project, the consortium analyzed the condition and the development level of regional air transportation, studied the socially and economically significant routes for the population and the economy of the region, analyzed the route network of regional air transportation, and prepared the rationale for the optimal aircraft types.

Besides, proposals were prepared concerning the development of mechanisms for subsidizing regional air transportation based on the available experience in subsidizing air transportation in other regions. The proposals were harmonized with the existing programs for subsidizing regional transportation at the expense of the federal budget, and the socio-economic effects of the concept were evaluated.

The strategy for the development of the international and federal-level hub was elaborated, taking into account the planned home basing of Aeroflot, and the mechanisms for stimulating the development of other air carriers in the hub were proposed.

At the second stage, a development concept of the airport system and the system of landing stripes was elaborated.

For this purpose, the most rational options for the development of a potential airport system and landing stripes in the Krasnoyarsk region were determined in accordance with the demand for air transportation from the population and industries and the investment opportunities of the budget system of the Russian Federation.

Also, the feasibility study of options of the model for managing the airport system in the Krasnoyarsk region and the mechanisms for financing the development of the airport system in the region were elaborated, the basic operational principles of the management companies were developed.

The strategy proposed has been taken for implementation by the Government of the Krasnoyarsk region.
