As part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum a panel session was organized, called “Russian Aviation: Definitive Development Strategies”. The partner of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum for preparing the panel session was the Center for Strategic Development in Civil Aviation (AVIACENTER). During the panel session the issues of developing civil aviation in Russia were discussed. In particular, the issues of the development of Moscow Aviation Cluster, state support of regional aviation, the interests of foreign aviation companies in Russia, the issues of Russian airports development, the condition and development of cargo air transport. Valery Okulov, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation; Yury Slyusar, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; Andrey Elinson, deputy CEO of Basic Element Group, Chairman of the Basel Aero board; Sergey Kravchenko, President Russia/CIS Boeing; Alexey Isaykin, president of Volga-Dnepr Group and many others took part in the session.
