Up-to-date issues and problems of airport design, construction, reconstruction and operations will be discussed by the participants of the Second International Conference "Airport Design, Reconstruction and Operations - 2013" on September 18th-19th 2013 in Moscow.

The conference was first held in 2012 and proved to be the main professional industry forum in Russia and the CIS for discussing all the issues of legislative regulation of airport and aerodrome design on the level of state and business, a place to share the experience of the leading international experts regarding airport design, building, reconstruction and operations.

This year the subjects of discussion will include over 50 topics, among which there are the issues of legislative control and state policy regarding increasing the efficiency of airport operations, arrangements between lessors and lessees and the rental fee assessment in case of drawing aerodrome federal property into economic circulation, issues of conducting state expertise of building and reconstruction of airport and aerodrome complexes. Corrections to the federal target program "The development of the transport system in Russia (years 2010 - 2015)" are also planned for discussion.

During the conference thematic sessions the issues of assessment of return on investment and projects feasibility, best international and Russian experience in design and construction of airports and facilities, problems of land use, modern technologies and materials, new methods and solutions used in building and reconstruction, issues of airport operations in response to airport activity certification cancellation, providing transport heritage after holding large international events, and many others will be discussed.

During the first day of the conference a master class for the participants will be held, devoted to: "Considering new international trends in airport design".

During the second day a workshop will be conducted by the leading international experts.

 Airport CEOs and deputy CEOs, technical directors and chief engineers of airports, heads and specialists of engineering organizations, certification authorities, suppliers and manufacturers of airport equipment, representatives of state authorities, non-profit organizations and media will take part in the conference.

Special preferential terms are available for representatives of airports, design & engineering organizations and regional public authorities.
