The XI International Conference ‘Regional Aviation of Russia and the CIS – 2021’ will be held in Moscow on September 23rd, 2021. The conference is the largest annual professional industry platform in the Eurasian Region, where key issues of the development of regional and commuter air transportation, improvement of regulatory issues and the exchange of experience of regional airlines and airports are discussed at the state and business level.

Participants of the conference are heads and experts of national and regional authorities, heads of airlines, airports and other enterprises of the industry, heads of producers and suppliers of regional aircraft, innovative solutions, heads and experts of financial and research institutes.

The attendees will discuss the role of regional and commuter air transport in regional economies and in solving social problems; the current state of the socially significant air transportation; new programs to subsidize regional transport and assess the effectiveness of these programs; the need of the regions in the modernization of regional aviation aircraft and the necessary measures of state support for the renewal of airline fleets. 

The agenda of the conference will cover transformation of the interaction mechanisms of market players: new points of growth and cooperation, the prospects for the emergence of new participants in the regional transportation market and the formation of prerequisites for their emergence; problems of staffing of regional and local aviation and optimal ways of resolving this problem.

The conference will host a Strategic Session to develop proposals and measures to promote the support and development of enterprises operating in the field of regional aviation, and to improve the regulatory framework of regional aviation and the activities of regional and commuter airports. The results of the strategic session will be presented to the national executive and legislative authorities.

The conference program includes a practical seminar for the heads of airlines and regional transport ministries ‘Modern tools for the development of regional air transportation’ from the leading Russian and international experts of AVAICENTER.

 Also, within the framework of the conference, an exhibition, special sessions for the presentation of airplanes and helicopters, machinery and equipment, innovative solutions and technologies for regional aviation will be organized. 

Participants of the conference ‘Regional Aviation of Russia and the CIS – 2021’ are provided with special conditions for participation in the IX International Conference ‘Airports Development – 2021’ (September 24, 2021).
