The Second International Conference “Efficiency and Quality on Air Transport – 2012” will take place in Moscow on November 15, 2012, under the auspices of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The issues of airline and airport quality management and efficiency control will be discussed during the conference at the state and business level. The main goal of the conference is to develop suggestions for state policy, regarding improving air transport companies’ performance on a system level, to conduct presentations, workshops and seminars of the leading experts in improving quality and efficiency of airlines and airports with an aim of spreading and implementing world’s best practices among aviation companies. The conference participants will get a unique opportunity to list and discuss the main system-level problems with the heads of the federal authorities, and work out suggestions for solving them together. The heads and specialists of the federal authorities, heads and specialists of airlines and airports, engineering companies, air transport certification bodies are invited to take part in the conference. As a result of the conference the recommendations to the Government of the Russian Federation and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will be prepared, regarding improvements in regulatory framework of aviation sector companies’ efficiency and quality issues. The conference is organized by the Center for Strategic Development in Civil Aviation (AVIACENTER).
