The programmes of state support of regional air transportation will be discussed at the 3rd International Conference "Regional Aviation of Russia and CIS - 2013".

In 2013 the Government of the Russian Federation has passed several resolutions, aimed at state support of regional air transport development, namely: the resolution of the Russian Government from 16/01/2013 N1 "About adoption of the Rules for providing subsidies from the federal budget for air transport organizations with a view to ensuring the affordability of domestic regional passenger air transport in the Volga Federal District in 2013" (pilot project approved by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev prepared in accordance with research of AVIACENTER), the resolution of the Russian Government from 27/03/2013 N 265 "About providing subsidies from the federal budget for air transport organizations with a view to ensuring the affordability of regional passenger air transport in the Northwestern, Siberia, Ural and Far Eastern Federal Districts", the resolution of the Russian Government from 18/06/2013 N 509 "About providing subsidies in 2013 for regional passenger air transport in the Russian Federation and creating of Russian regional route network".

The approved programs utilize different approaches to subsidizing regional air transport. Which principle is the most effective? What will be the further development of the regional aviation state support programs?

All these and other issues of developing regional air transport will be discussed by the participants of the 3rd International Conference "Regional Aviation of Russia and CIS - 2013", that will be held on October 16th-17th, 2013, in Moscow.

As a result of the Conference suggestions will be prepared for improving state support programs for regional aviation, which will be directed to the Government of the Russian Federation and the  Parliament of the Russian Federation.

"Regional Aviation of Russia and CIS - 2013" is the main professional industry event, during which key issues of the development of regional and commuter aviation are discussed on the level of state and business.

The heads and deputy heads of regional airlines, airports and other industry organizations, suppliers of regional aircraft, innovative solutions and aviation products, heads and experts of financial institutions, traditionally federal and regional government representatives take part in the conference.

Special preferential terms are available to the representatives of airlines, airports and governmental bodies.

The host of the conference is the Center for Strategic Development in Civil Aviation (AVIACENTER).
